1. CANCELLATIONS

Transformational Birth, Birthfully Embodied courses, and One-to-One coaching are professional services.

A booking is confirmed once payment (deposit or full fee) has been received and written confirmation has been issued.

2. COOLING OFF PERIOD

In accordance with UK consumer law, a consumer has 14 days from the date of booking to cancel for a full refund, unless the course or service begins within that period and you have agreed for it to commence. By booking a course or one-to-one session that is due to start within 14 days of booking, you agree that the service may commence immediately. You acknowledge that once the service has started, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply, and you may not be entitled to a refund. If you do not wish the service to commence immediately, please notify us before the course or session start date.

 

3. DEPOSITS

A non-refundable deposit secures your place and contributes toward administration, course preparation, venue fees, course materials, equipment and associated costs. For deposits under 50%, only a fraction of these costs are covered.

4. CANCELLATIONS BY YOU

If you cancel your place, refunds (after deduction of the non-refundable deposit) will be calculated according to the notice period provided in writing:

21 days or fewer / non-attendance 0%

If your place is successfully filled from a waiting list, a refund may be issued minus reasonable administrative costs.

Places are not transferable without prior agreement.

Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot be carried forward.

5.TRANSFER POLICY

If you wish to transfer to a later course, a £30 administration fee applies. If no suitable alternative date is available, the cancellation policy will apply.

6.CANCELLATIONS OR CHANGES BY JADE LAWRENCE

In the unlikely event that a course or session must be cancelled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond my control (including illness, venue issues, or unforeseen events), an alternative date will be offered. Where rescheduling is not possible, a refund of fees paid will be issued.

7. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

The information, techniques, and exercises provided within courses, sessions, or digital materials are for educational purposes only and are not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult your GP, midwife, or healthcare provider regarding your individual circumstances.

Techniques should not be practised whilst driving or operating machinery. If you have epilepsy, clinical depression, or any other neurological or psychiatric condition, please consult a medical professional before participating.

 

8.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All course content, materials, recordings, scripts, exercises, and teaching methods remain the intellectual property of Jade Lawrence. They may not be copied, reproduced, recorded, distributed, or shared without prior written permission.

 

9.DATA PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Personal information is handled in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

For group courses, participants are expected to respect the privacy and confidentiality of others within the group.

 

10.METHOD OF REFUND

Refunds will be made via the original payment method. Please allow up to five working days for processing.

 

11.LIABILITY

Jade Lawrence does not accept liability for illness, injury, accident, loss, or damage to personal property occurring during attendance at courses or sessions, except where required by law.

 

12.AMENDMENTS

Jade Lawrence reserves the right to amend these terms where necessary. The current version will always be available on the website.
